My client is looking for a FP&A Analyst (Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst) to assist with the management and timely production of all planning, budgeting, forecasting and business decision support analysis required by the company. Ensuring that robust systems and procedures are in place to deliver a disciplined approach to Financial Planning & Analysis activities, resulting in the production of high quality reliable information that supports the ultimate objective of improving profitability & the understanding of business drivers.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
To work with the Commercial Manager on the planning, budgeting, forecasting & financial analysis provided to the management team (e.g. profitability analysis, pricing, financial analysis of business cases)
To work in conjunction with the Commercial Manager and other FP&A staff to develop priorities, plans and policies to ensure effective and consistent FP&A for the division & group.
To assist in the preparation of the 3 Year Strategic Plan, annual budget and periodic forecasts in accordance with agreed timetables.
To own and develop planning, budgeting and forecasting systems, models and processes ensuring they are both robust and efficient and able to provide the required level of accuracy / level of detail.
To ensure that all plans, budgets and forecasts are supported by in-depth assumptions, market analysis, and action plans, to undertake variance and sensitivity analysis, and provide KPIs and other information as required.
Ideal Candidate:
Enjoy and strive for increased responsibility working within a fast paced environment.
Be objective and results driven with an ‘eye for detail’.
Have empathy with customers/stakeholders with the ability to deal with individuals at various levels.
Be seen to be calm and assured under pressure, dealing with issues as they arise in a professional manner.
A team player.
Currently studying / Part qualified member of a recognised accounting body (CIMA/ACCA) or equivalent.
Assertive, proactive and determined to succeed
Proven track record of success in previous role(s)
Experience in Finance preferably in Analytical / FP&A role essential with experience of leasing an advantage.
